I had a meeting with a photographer and was surprised to see him turn up in a Lancia Integrale sports car – complete with racing livery! (Turns out he’d been to Donnington Race circuit earlier that day!) Anyway I couldn’t resist but to ask him if I could get a recording of the engine and the exhaust sound. Read more

Summer rain – it’s the best type of rain, especially when your water butt is getting low! I’d just returned from a walk in the countryside when the heavens opened with a crack of thunder and lightning, the rain soon started to tap away on our aluminum garden patio furniture set. Read more

On a walk around the Walls at Tossa de Mar I caught this live mix of birds and music. The walled part of Tossa is famous for its small restaurants and it was from one of them that the music came from. Read more

Second (and possibly better) Recording made at Borth y Gest bay, Wales near Porthmadog. Trains from the Ffestiniog Railway can be heard crossing the cob in the distance. Read more
